Hypefest new show open is sure to be radiant – May. 1st

HypeFest is pleased to announce it has selected Radiant Media to create the festival's 2005 show open.

"We're very excited to have been selected to produce the HypeFest 2005 open," says Radiant Media's Doug Refro. "Our concept's classic, educational filmstrip aesthetic fits nicely with the HypeFest mission to promote short films, music videos, commercials, and promos at one event. Radiant Media, Inc. is a Knoxville, Tennessee-based animation, design, film and production company, which produces television productions, graphic packages, promos, and commercials for clients including DIY Network, Discovery Health, Food Network, HGTV, and Oxygen Network.

HypeFest at DIY in LA – Feb. 12th

The HypeFest team is out and about promoting the festival and looking for great short subject work, and our next stop is the DIY Convention in Los Angeles. That's right, kiddies, you can do it yourself and the DIY Convention is there to help. Featuring workshops and panels on independent film, music and publishing, the DIY Convention is your one stop shop for brilliant ways to create, promote and distribute your art. HypeFest Festival Co-Directors Leigh Godfrey and Jessie Nagel will be at a HypeFest booth on the alt-convention floor, so if you're in LA, come on by and enjoy the indie vibe.

HypeFest Shorts Program Screening as Part of the 5th Annual Silver Lake Film Festival

If you missed HypeFest, now is your chance to catch some of the highlights of the festival. HypeFest Co-Directors Leigh Godfrey & Jessie Nagel have curated a special screening of short films and music videos from HypeFest 2004 for the 5th Annual Silver Lake Film Festival.
