Andy Hann An industry-acclaimed creative director, Andy Hann is best known for creating the award-winning channel identity for E! Entertainment Television, where he served as Vice President/Creative Director of on-air branding. The E! brand garnered numerous industry accolades from the BDA (Broadcast Designers Association), New York Film Festival Awards, Telly, Art Director's Annual, AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts), How Magazine and Print. A graduate of Otis Parsons School of Art and Design, Andy's career path eventually led him to V12 in Los Angeles, where he is Group Creative Director/Brand Strategist. Working with noted industry leaders and young talent, Hann continues to practice his craft with professional conviction to cut through the clutter on television. Gill Holland A half-Norwegian, half-North Carolinian reformed lawyer, independent producer Gill Holland is the founder of New York-based production company CineBLAST! Nominated for the 1998 Spirit Award for "Producer of the Year," Gill's credits include the FOX sitcom Greg The Bunny; Morgan J. Freeman's triple Sundance award-winning film Hurricane Streets and his follow-up Desert Blue, starring Christina Ricci, Casey Affleck, and Kate Hudson; Rob Tregenza's Inside/Out; Tom Gilroy's Spring Forward; and Tim Kirkman's Spirit Award and Emmy-nominated documentary Dear Jesse. Gill worked for three years at the French Film Office after a brief stint at October/USA Films and has been a juror at Sundance (1999) and for the 2002 Academy Awards, Student Division. He is currently working on a movie about the Wright Brothers and a TV series based on Interpol. Michael Porte Michael Porte is a dynamic industry leader with over 20 years of diverse management experience in film and television advertising, communications media and high-technology product development. As part of his vast experience, Porte has co-founded six media companies and co-produced one feature film. In addition to his role as General Manager of audioEngine, Porte is also the Partner/CEO of WheresSpot?, the web and email based community for creative and production professionals in the advertising, film and commercial production industries. Greg Ptacek Formerly a marketing executive with New Line Cinema and The Walt Disney Studio, Greg Ptacek currently serves as Corporate Communications Director for the American Film Marketing Association, which annually produces the American Film Market. Previously, he was the director of the motion picture group of Rogers & Cowan. In 1999 he founded the Silver Lake Film Festival to celebrate the multi-cultural diversity of Los Angeles' Eastside. Under his direction, the festival has grown over the last three years from a community weekend event to a nationally recognized multi-arts, multi-media festival encompassing more than 300 programs presented over 10 days. Formerly the film reporter for The Hollywood Reporter, Ptacek began his career in the entertainment industry as the co-founder and managing editor of ROCK, a celebrated music magazine distributed internationally. He is an award-winning nonfiction book author with titles published by William Morrow, Simon & Schuster, Harper Collins and John Wiley & Sons. Sheira Rees-Davies Sheira Rees-Davies is Executive Producer of music videos for Anonymous Content, a bi-coastal film production company. The company represents award winning, leading-edge talent including Mark Romanek, David Fincher, Stephane Sedanoui, Garth Jennings of Hammer and Tongs, Sanaa Hamri, Wade Robson, Wong Kar-Wai, David Kellogg, Peter Christopherson, Tom Carty, Andrew Douglas, Andrea Giacobbe, Thomas Kloss and Nic Mathieu. Sheira has been managing and developing artists for the last 16 years. Originally lending her skills to music management and later integrating her love of music with her passion for film, she now applies her managerial skills to nurture and develop directors' careers. Sheira is also on the Board of Directors for the MVPA, assisting in its efforts to set the standard and promote new practices within the music video industry. |
